A payment schedule looks simple: a table of dates and amounts. In practice it is the document that shapes your relationship with a seller for years. Many disputes in plot buying start with a schedule that nobody read closely. This post is a list of questions to ask, whichever society you consider. It contains no prices, and it is general information, not legal or financial advice. What a payment schedule should show Ask for it in writing, with your name and the plot number it applies to. A clear schedule normally shows: - The plot or unit it refers to. - Each payment, its due date and what it is for. - How each payment is made and into which account. - What happens if a payment is late. - What happens if you wish to stop, transfer or change plans. If any of these is missing, ask for it to be added before you sign anything. Ten questions to ask 1. Whose account? Payments go only to the official company account. Ask for the account title in writing and confirm it with the company. See payment safety when buying a plot. 2. Who issues receipts? Every payment should produce an official receipt. Keep each one. 3. What are the due dates? Put them in your calendar and note any grace period. 4. What are the late terms? Ask what a missed date means in practice. 5. Can the plan change? Ask under what conditions the seller may change terms, and whether you will be told in writing. 6. What about transfer? Ask how a transfer to another person works and what documents it needs. 7. What if I cancel? Ask for the written policy before you commit, not after. 8. Is anything optional? Separate required payments from optional services. 9. What is the plot location? Ask for the plot number and the approved plan that shows it. 10. What is the approval status? Ask for the approval letter and confirm it. Red flags - A request to pay into a personal account. - Pressure to pay today to "hold" a plot. - Verbal promises that do not appear in the document. - Guaranteed returns or fixed possession dates. Nobody honest can guarantee either. - A refusal to let you read the full terms. Documents to keep Keep the schedule, every receipt, the plot allocation papers and any written message from the seller. Our list of documents to ask for before buying a plot shows what to expect. If you pay from abroad Overseas buyers should be even more careful, because you cannot pop into the office. Confirm the account by phone with the company, pay by traceable bank transfer, and keep the transfer confirmation with your receipt. Our overseas checklist walks through the steps in order. Our approach at New Airport City We do not publish prices or payment plans in blog posts; terms are shared by the team and are always paid to the official company account. We also do not state possession dates or promise returns. Development is not complete: the site has green spaces and lakes, and the Meinhardt master plan is a vision. See it first, then decide.
