If you are searching for a housing society with lakes near Islamabad, you have probably noticed that many projects use the word "lake" in a brochure. Fewer let you stand beside the water before you decide. At New Airport City, the lakes are part of the land and part of the master plan. This post explains what you can see on site today, and how the lakes and green spaces fit into the larger plan. It is general information, and our team will confirm current details when you contact us.
Lakes and green spaces on the land
The lakes at New Airport City are not an add-on drawn into a brochure. They are part of the land, surrounded by green space. Our guiding idea is simple: See it first. Then decide. Standing beside the water tells you more than any page can.
What you can see on site today
We only describe what is real. On site today there are green spaces and lakes, and visitors enjoy fishing and some kayaking. That is the experience you can have now.
Development is not complete. Roads, community buildings and many facilities shown in our renders are part of the plan, not part of today's site. Our team will tell you plainly which is which, and we would rather you hear it from us than assume.
How the lakes fit the master plan
The New Airport City master plan is by world-renowned town planner Meinhardt, with six communities, lakes and green zones. In a plan like this, water and open space are not decoration added at the end. They shape how streets, homes and parks are arranged, and they give each community a place to walk, sit and meet.
Our renders show the vision of the plan, for example lakeside promenades and boating. Renders are illustrative: they show what the master plan intends, not what is built today. If you want a deeper look at the layout, read our guide to the New Airport City master plan explained.
What to look for at a lakeside society
Whichever project you consider, a few questions help you judge a lake claim fairly:
- Is the lake on the land today, or only in the plan?
- Is the approval in place? New Airport City is NOC Approved by PHATA, the Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency.
- Where would your plot sit in relation to the water and green zones on the approved plan?
- Who is responsible for upkeep and safety around the water, and is that in writing?
- Can you see the site on a normal day, not only in a presentation?
A sound project welcomes these questions.
Finding the lakes
The community is on M-14 CPEC at Girja Link Road, Fateh Jang, near the New Islamabad International Airport. From the CPEC road it is about 15 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to Rawalpindi. Our post on how to reach New Airport City explains the route step by step.

A word on safety and payments
Nobody can promise returns or possession dates, and we do not. Ask for everything in writing, and pay only into New Airport City's official company account, with a receipt every time. Read payment safety when buying a plot before you transfer any money.
