When you live in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the UK or elsewhere, the plot you are considering is thousands of kilometres away. Good communication is the bridge. This guide covers practical habits that protect you, whichever developer you deal with. It is general information, not legal or financial advice.
Agree how you will communicate
At the start, ask who your single point of contact is, which number or email they use, and when they are available. Pakistan is 1 hour ahead of the UAE, 5 hours ahead of the UK in winter, so a call at 6 PM your time may fall late at night for the team. Agree a window that suits both sides.
WhatsApp is convenient, not a contract
Most conversations happen on WhatsApp, and that is fine for questions. But anything that matters should also be in writing in a formal document or email: the plot number, the approved plan, the payment schedule, the account title and any promise made to you. Ask the team to send these by email, and reply to confirm you received them.
Keep your own record
- Save every document in one folder, named by date.
- Keep every payment receipt and bank transfer confirmation.
- Write a short note after each call: date, who you spoke to, what was agreed.
- Screenshot or export important chats.
If anything is ever disputed, this record is your best protection. Our list of documents to ask for before buying a plot shows what to expect.
Verify who you are speaking to
Be careful with unknown numbers and with anyone who contacts you first with an urgent offer. Confirm the company's official numbers on its website, and confirm account details by calling the company directly. New Airport City lists its official contacts on its website, and payments go only to the official company account. Read more in our payment safety guide.
Ask for plain answers
If a term is unclear, ask for it to be explained in simple words and in writing. Good developers are comfortable with questions. Be cautious of anyone who avoids them, who pressures you to pay quickly, or who promises guaranteed returns or fixed possession dates.
Use video, but also plan to visit
A video call can help you understand the area, but it does not replace seeing the land. When you are next in Pakistan, arrange a site visit. New Airport City is on M-14 CPEC, near New Islamabad International Airport, Fateh Jang; the site today has green spaces and lakes, and the master plan by world-renowned town planner Meinhardt is a vision. Development is not complete, which is why we say: see it first, then decide. Images are for illustrative purposes.
Frequently asked questions
Can someone visit on my behalf? Many overseas buyers ask a relative to visit. Ask the team what identification and arrangements are needed.
Which number should I use? Use the official numbers on the website, such as UAE +971 54 270 0007 or +971 56 170 1622, KSA +966 50 342 1539, UK +44 7944 106430, or WhatsApp +92 300 5005645.
